BEHIND THE DESIGN
Meet Niki
Niki Epstein is a leading expert in exterior and interior plant styling. She has worked with world-renowned design professionals, celebrities, and clients, to create unique green spaces that are as luxurious as they are livable.
Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Garden and Gun, Elle Decor, Southern Living, and more. In 2019 she was awarded “Design Master of Landscaping” by New Orleans Magazine. She is a regular Fox8 News contributor on plant styling. She has a BS in Psychology and earned a Landscape Design and Management certificate from Northwestern University. She is a Licensed Landscape Horticulturist and Master Gardener. With over 20 years of horticulture and design experience, she creates plant scapes appropriate to the environment, taking the guesswork out of designing with nature. Niki has the unique ability to align style and function, allowing plants to flourish while producing well-being and beauty.
She promises to connect you with nature, bring value to your project, and ensure your green investment thrives. Her services include floral design, holiday styling, sourcing high-quality materials, and consulting.

NOW COMES THE FUN PART! Time to get dirty! Once you are ready to plant, I will send you a mood board and container recipe with detailed written instructions on how to design, plant, and care for your containers.

This package consists of a 45 minute in-person consult and walk thru of your property.

“In selecting the flowers and greenery, Colhoun and the designers had to consider the home’s location: right alongside Audubon Park. “When the backdrop is ancient live oak trees, you can’t compete with that,” says Epstein. They kept it simple and local—and strictly green and white—using cedar, magnolia, and camellia foliage with white peonies, ranunculus, scabiosas, amaryllis, astrantias, roses, variegated white-and-green kale, and parrot tulips. These cedar garlands are hung from nails painted white and driven into the top corners and center of each window frame.”
